Experience
I am a student at Roanoke College where I have been tutoring my fellow students in the art of organization. I work with students from various backgrounds to help them devise a plan that will help them reach their goals in class or on their tests. My specialty though is helping my students improve the writing and editing of their essays. I am currently spending a semester in Washington, D.C. working as an intern for a non-profit whose specialty is in Latin America. I study International Relations, Environmental Science, and Spanish at Roanoke.In high school I took 9 AP courses and scored at the 4-5 level on 6 AP tests. My experience tutoring has been with students aged 5 through 19 years, and I look forward to any challenges. I want to help all my students find the confidence they need to be successful. I am currently tutoring in a number of courses, including Spanish, American History, European History, AP Comparative Government and Politics, AP Studio Art: Drawing, Geography, IB Global Politics SL, Elementary Math, Reading, Writing, AP English Language and Composition, Latin History, and many more. When I am not studying or teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, traveling, and ballroom dancing.
