I have a passion for tutoring, because I know what it is like to be student struggling to learn a subject. I studied Economics in college, and one class I really struggled in at first was Microeconomics. However, even though I began this class not understanding the material, I worked hard and dedicated myself to understanding it better and ended up earning an A in the course. The fact that hard work paid off so well in the end really boosted my confidence in school and made me realize that anything can truly be accomplished with hard work. I then began tutoring to help other students at my college with the subjects they found difficult. I mainly helped them in their Economics, Finance, and Accounting courses. I found that tutoring other students not only helped them learn, but I also realized that teaching a subject helped improve my own understanding of it. I now tutor a wide array of subjects and tutor college, high school, and middle school students. My specialties include French, College Math, Algebra, and Trigonometry. I have helped many students master their classwork and earn better grades over the years, and I find this accomplishment very personally rewarding. I also work to build self-confidence in the students I tutor, because I believe confidence is a great asset to learning.
